New York State Association of Protestant Chaplains Information

The New York State Association of Protestant Chaplains strives to ensure the welfare of those engaged in professional religious ministry to institutionalized and deinstitutionalized persons in New York State. We are not inclusive of Chaplains serving NYS’s agencies and welcome all non-state employed Chaplains to become NYSAPC members as well. The Association gathers for an annual education conference and gives direction and perspective to the mutual ministries of its members.

There are different categories of membership with an appropriate membership fee based on employment, etc. The types of membership and fees are explained on the Membership Form linked below.

Register for the 2023 Protestant Chaplains Education Conference on Tuesday, October 3 - Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Albany, NY.

This year's Protestant Chaplains Education Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Express at 16 Wolf Road in Albany, NY 12205.

This Conference warmly welcomes all chaplains and volunteers seeking support, education and collegiality, who work in any chaplaincy setting—hospitals, jails, prisons, children's and youth facilities, mental health, disaster-preparedness ministries, state, county and state institutions to name a few.

Purchase your $185 registration here for the full conference and catered meals for Tuesday dinner and lunch and dinner on Wednesday. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast, for Wednesday and Thursday mornings. This price also includes a $40.00 registration fee.

Deadline for registrations is September 15.
