View the Virtual Town Hall here
New York State Council of Churches and New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness will be holding a Virtual Town Hall to compare the one house budget resolutions to the Governor’s proposed budget. Senate Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie enter budget negotiations with the Governor (Three people in a room) to render a final budget to be voted on by the Senate and Assembly by April 1.
We want advocates and faith leaders to understand where we are in the budget negotiation process and what they can do to influence the final outcome in the last days to build a more just New York.
