On behalf of the Center for Law and Social Justice (CLSJ) at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, I am honored to invite you to join us at the John Lewis National Day of Action Commemorative Event on July 17, 2024.
Given your exceptional role as an engaged community member who believes in fighting for justice and building our communities, we would be delighted if you could join us in honoring the legacy of the late Congressman Lewis at a reception and film screening of John Lewis: Good Trouble, on Wednesday evening, July 17, 2024 at 6pm.
The film screening will be held at Medgar Evers College, EOJ Auditorium, 1638 Bedford Avenue Building, Brooklyn, NY 11225. The reception will begin at 6:00 pm followed by the film screening which will begin at 6:45pm. Immediately following the film, we will hold a vigil in honor of John Lewis and all ancestors who fought for our rights.
