May 4-16, 2025 | Cost (without airfare) between $3595 and $2595
Last summer several Palestinian Christian leaders addressed a letter to their fellow Christians around the world: “We write to you with heavy hearts but steadfast spirits, seeking your solidarity and presence in a time of great need. The land where Jesus once walked, the Holy Land, has been enduring decades of turmoil, displacement, and violence. Our communities are under continuous attack, and our people, though resilient, feel increasingly isolated. We deeply appreciate the prayers offered from afar, but now, more than ever, we need our Christian sisters and brothers to join us here, to pray with us, to walk with us, and to stand with us in our struggle for justice and peace.”
In response to this plea from our Christian sisters and brothers in Palestine, the New York State Council of Churches is inviting people to join a “Living Stones” solidarity tour of Palestine & Israel. The tour, May 4-16, 2025 will be led by Dr. Michael Spath, Executive Director, Indiana Center for Middle East Peace who has led multiple trips to Palestine/Israel.
The trip will include meetings with internationally known Jewish, Christian, Muslim religious and NGO leaders, peacemakers, and human rights advocates as well as visits to major Holy Land religious and historical sites in Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Galilee.
Cost (not including airfare) will be between $3595 and $2595 depending on the number of participants.
Peter Cook and John Paarlberg are planning to participate in this trip. For more information please contact John at jpaarlberg@gmail.com.
