We are excited to announce that the New York State Council of Churches Housing Working Group will hold its first meeting of the Fall on September 9th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This crucial session will focus on the Faith-Based Affordable Housing Act, legislation designed to empower churches and religious organizations across New York to effectively respond to the ongoing housing crisis.

This meeting is open to all, and we encourage participation from faith leaders, community organizers, and anyone interested in the intersection of faith and housing advocacy. The Faith-Based Affordable Housing Act presents a unique opportunity for religious organizations to engage in meaningful action and support their communities in addressing housing needs.
