This is an interfaith gathering.
We are witnessing a radical global rise in religious nationalist movements. Religion is rapidly being nationalized and weaponized as a political tool to intimidate and oppress “the other,” including through ethno-centric violence and genocidal actions.
This tour will use the emergence of Hindu supremacy in India as a case study to examine patterns, parallels, and alliances in global religious nationalisms — and how we can respond to them as people of faith.
Refreshments will be served. No registration is required, but RSVP is encouraged.
