We hear regularly about the tragedy of the war in Gaza, but it is sometimes hard to understand what is really happening. If you want to go beyond the headlines and gain greater awareness, I invite you to join us on Tuesday evening, September 10 at 6:00 PM EDT to hear Rev. Mitre Raheb, a prominent Palestinian Christian leader who lives in Bethlehem, speak on “Understanding Gaza: Political Context and Theological Challenges.” You can register here to attend Rev. Raheb’s presentation in the sanctuary of New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1313 New York Avenue, NW, WDC 20005. Free parking will be available next door to the church and we are also near Metro Center in downtown Washington, DC. We hope you can attend in person, but, if not, you can register here to receive the zoom link needed to attend the webinar.

Please note that this program is starting earlier than our usual evening programs in order to accommodate those in the DC area who may want to attend this program and also watch the Presidential Debate at 9:00 PM EDT. This program will end at 7:30 PM EDT and so it will be over in plenty of time to watch the debate later in the evening.
All the best,
